Born Lynn Sutter, the daughter of a Baptist minister of music, Lynn's first recording of original songs was released in 1984 on the Christian records label. Interestingly, a few of the tracks were recorded in Memphis at Ardent and co-produced by Joe Hardy and Lynn's then-friend / now-husband Lindy Hearne. Other tracks from this LP were recorded in Dallas at Dallas Sound Lab, in Seattle at Kaye-Smith, and in Alexandria, IN at then-Pinebrook now-Gaither Studios with Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra players.
