Lullabye 03:50
Lullabye Words & Music by Lynn Adler 1. Listening to the wind, I swear I hear you calling me. Will I ever sleep again, your face is all I see. Nobody knows how much it hurts. No one can understand. Just when I think I can’t go on, you’re there - and I hear you singing... (Chorus) Lullabye my little one -- lullabye tonight. Lullabye my little one. Everything is gonna be alright. 2. Working through the day, I feel your spirit next to mine. Suddenly the memory takes me to another time. You always made the best of life. You had the will to win. Someday I know we’ll meet again. Until then I hear you singing... (Chorus) Lullabye my little one -- lullabye tonight. Lullabye my little one. Everything is gonna be alright. (Bridge) We never grow too old to need a tender lullabye. A lullabye can rock you, and hold you, and sing you through the night. (Chorus) Lullabye my little one -- lullabye tonight. Lullabye my little one. Everything is gonna be alright. (repeat)

There was something I was just about to say, But then it didn't seem the time So I just rehearsed my lines. Seems the day just slipped away, And so did you. And now it seems the time instead to bear the weight of things unsaid. I was waiting just to hear a word from you But you were waiting for me too. So what else is new? Next thing you know those years they sure can fly, And who knows why we never speak Or why we hide instead of seek? It used to be I'd count to ten. I'd come runnin'. You'd count to ten. Come runnin' too. If we don't count for one another, What are we coming to? I lost track of just whose turn it was to call But I've been busy after all What with building up this wall. And we wonder how the distance grows so wide When love waits on the other side Of the places we all hide. There was a time I'd count to ten. I'd come runnin'. You'd count to ten. Come runnin' too. If we don't count for one another, What are we coming to? There was something I was just about to say, but then it didn't seem the time. I was waiting just to hear a word from you, but you were waiting for me too. I lost track of just whose turn it was to call, but I've been busy after all.

Prelude “If I Had Wings” words & music by Peter Yarrow and Susan Yardley. If I had wings no one would ask me should I fly. The bird sings, and no one asks why. I can see in myself wings, as I feel them. If you see something else, keep your thoughts to yourself. I’ll fly free then… “That Voice” words & music Lynn Adler I listen to my heart. What do I hear? A distant voice or a lost cause? A voice calling me. A familiar part. Like someone I once knew or once was. You’d think I’d know that voice by now after all these years Of keeping it to myself. Prisoner of my fears. That voice. That voice. That voice. I know that voice from somewhere. Memories so faint. Memoires too clear. Memories that haunt when left unspoken. The good and the bad. The ugly and sad. The voice gets lost. The heart gets broken. If it doesn’t feel right do you put up a fight? Or put on a smile? The heart grows cold. Hushabye now. Don’t you cry now. Be a good girl. Do as you’re told. You’d think I’d know that voice by now after all these years Of keeping it to myself. Prisoner of my fears. That voice. That voice. That voice. I know that voice from somewhere. Aw, shut it up. Choke it back. Swallow hard. Tears in a pillow. Hushabye baby. Don’t you cry. Sugar and spice. Let’s see that smile… I listen to my heart. What do I hear? A distant voice somewhat familiar. A voice calling me to an open door. It’s growing strong. It’s drawing nearer. You’d think I’d know that voice by now after all these years Of keeping it to myself. Prisoner of my fears. That voice. That voice. That voice. I know that voice from somewhere. You’d think I’d know that voice by now after all these years.

I dreamed this morning, floating on a cloud in blue island skies. Sailing and soaring - heading into harbor on this paradise. Awakening I find a sleeping state of mind Life's rarely what it seems - so why not live the dream? Chorus: We are all in this together on this island in the sky. In sunny or stormy weather - we can make it if we try. Sailor take warning - floating on a cloud in blue island skies Sailing and soaring - you're headed for some trouble on this paradise That dreamer state of mind is not the common kind And on that common ground some are gonna try to shoot you down Chorus Bridge: From suburbs and skyscrapers to the villages and towns We all drink the same water - we walk the same ground We have lived on this island since our birth Home sweet home - Island Earth! I dreamed this morning - floating on a cloud in blue island skies Sailing and soaring - heading toward some heaven on this paradise The island wakes to find our dreams are ties that bind Our voices all belong here in this dreaming song Chorus twice Tag: We can make it if we try. We can make it if we try. We can make it!
